Tuesday morning, Crown Princess Mary attended an
international high level meeting on global inequality. The conference is hosted
by Danish Minister of Development, Christian Friis Bach, and the Chairman of
the National Development and Planning Commission in Ghana, Paul Victor Obeng,
in collaboration with the Executive Director of UNICEF, Anthony Lake, and the head
of the UN Women, Michelle Bachelet.
The conference is part of a series of global
consultations hosted by the UN in the process of formulating the development
goals that will replace the UN’s eight 2015 –target.
The high level meeting will unite
decision-makers and ministers from a number of countries and leaders of the UN
and civil-society-organizations with the purpose to discuss what the
international community should do about global inequality.
Mary looked ready for business in a black and
pinstriped suit that has yet to be identified. What we do know about it on the
other hand is that she wore it back in 2004 when visiting London together with
her husband and then again in early 2005 when visiting Danish Red Cross in
Copenhagen. It’s a very classic suit, and I think it is fantastic that Mary
still wears it after all these years – and that she fits it even after having
given birth to four children. What do you think about the suit, and do you have
any suggestions for a possible ID?

Underneath the blazer she wore a new multicoloured
top that at this moment remains unidentified. If you have any knowledge of the
tops origin, please feel free to share.
The purple bag is from Prada, and as far as I
know, we have not seen it before at official engagement – only at private
public appearances.

Final ID for today is the earrings from Danish
jeweller Marianne Dulong.

So far Mary is not expected to undertake any further
official engagement until March 11, when she will visit Chile together with
Crown Prince Frederik. Do you look forward to that trip?
It's a bit early to say, that Mary will not have
ReplyDeleteany official engagements until the visit to Chile...The official calendar is updated every week, so lets see.
I hope to see her before the visit to Chile as well.
DeleteI totally agree about the suit. Wearing something again after 8 years is amazing recycling! Looking forward to another tour.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree with you on both things. :-)
DeleteIt's the Hugo Boss isolia blouse available on Nordstrom
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tip! I'm not sure about the neckline though but check out the update I made on it here: http://royaloutfits.blogspot.dk/2013/03/tour-program.html
